Miguel St. Michael’s artistic and cultural practice is rooted in storytelling that amplifies voices and identities often overlooked within Latin music—particularly in Tejano, Cumbia, and Latin Rock. As a queer Mexican-American and Guadalupano, his journey as an artist has been shaped by navigating spaces where he was not always fully seen or accepted. Rather than remaining confined to the margins, his work reclaims that space, creating from a place of authenticity, visibility, and pride.
